Mosaic provided master planning advice to support a recent outline planning application for a mixed-use, sustainable urban extension. The development will comprise up to 1,461 residential units and a ‘community hub.’ Our vision for Humber’s Mill is to create a healthy, connected, and welcoming new neighbourhood that brings people of all ages and backgrounds together in a future-ready place.
Located close to the coastal towns of Margate and Broadstairs and the Westwood Cross Shopping Centre, Humber’s Mill offers the best of town and country living in the heart of the Isle of Thanet. The development is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring high-quality homes surrounded by green spaces and supported by a new primary school, shops, cafes, and other community facilities.
Finally, the proposals for Humber’s Mill are guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These 17 goals provide a blueprint to achieve a more sustainable future for all, enabling the community to minimise its impact on the environment and strive for social and economic equality.
